Leroy is back in his glory.  Only a sweatshirt, sunglasses and a bobcat.  What better combination could there be?

Be it ever so humble..........

After miles and miles and miles, we have arrived safely at home.  A wonderful Thank you to all those who made this trip possible.  Those who looked after the home front, and those who kept in contact with us.  Had a wonderful stop on the way home and visited with Jon, Chelsey, Maya Eli and Isaac.  Always so so wonderful to see them.  Poor Maya is not feeling well, but she is such a trooper.  She still could cuddle with Opa, and nothing he loves more than that!  Eli was his sweet old spunky self, and Isaac was of course sweet as ever.  What a wonderful loving family!  Arrived home to a wonderful sign for Team Canada and Dan.  It was a bright beautiful winter day; sun shining brightly, lts of snow on the ground, but you could be out in a T-shirt.  A dutch saying is Oost west thuis best.  We translate that to Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.  We travelled this world over from sea to shining sea, but Telkwa is were we CHOOSE to be!  Really looking forward to sleeping in our own bed tonight.  There's no place better than that!

Daytona Beach

De krant!  It was like one of those Ray Stevens songs.  It was something out of the Twilight Zone.  It was a lot of fun though especially since Canada won.  We had that biker bar rocking!  Hilarious.  If

When we went to Disneyland, Mary Poppins was in England loking after the children.  She arrived in Disney World today, so we took her picture just for  them!

Again, we had a good day.  Epcot was pretty relaxing compared to Universal Studios.  Universal Studios was INTENSE!!  This much more relaxing.  They had some kind of world Expo with  all kinds of Pavillions from different countries.  I had the best lunch in good old Duetsland Town.  Bavarian Smokies, Sauekraut and good Bavarian beer.  Dad waited in line forever for a bag of chips and a hotdog.  I was 22 cents short to buy him blackforest cake!  Oh well some other time.  That's it for the extreme excitement.  Tomorrow maybe some shopping, Sunday the beach and then Monday on our way home.  Hope you like the pictures.

Had a fun day today,  Even though it's Florida, it was not shorts and t-shirt weather.  We did however dress that way.  It was nice, the sun was shining and there was no rain, but the wind was COLD!!!!
There was a section of the park modeld after "The Simpsons".  We had a great time there.  A lot of the rides were in cars and they would show a movie that would make it feel like you were on a roller coaster.  It really was amazing was special effects could do.  We had a great day!  With all the people that were there it makes you wonder how they could attract that many people day after day after day.  It really was something.
We also did the ride Shrek, Despicable me, The /simpsons, Men in Black, The Transformers and ET.  There was one that had Arnold Schwartzenager saying, lets book it!  Not becoming of him.  Enjoy the pictures!
