St. Kitts part 2

St. Kitts now spelt properly...........Small posts seem to publish easier, so this time I'll try with some pics.  Oh this internet is something to be desired.

St. Kits

I"I think I'm in a bar............."  In fact I KNOW I'm in a bar.    So since we got up this morning the plan was to rent a scooter and tour the island.  We made it all the way to the scooter rental place and there was only one of us with a driver's license and that one was NOT your dad.  The choice was this, either mom drives the scooter and dad sits on the back, or mom sits at a bar and blogs and dad walks back to the ship and gets his drivers license.  Since you are all either children of your father or married to children of your father-in-law, so I'm sure you all know what choice was made.  Of course I was given VERY specific instructions to "STAYput!!!"  Go figure.  I have in twenty minutes two wrong directions to go in.  Yeah my sense of direction is questionable but oh well, I AM good looking and your father still loves me even after 30 years!

Sunday February 2, 2014

Before we planned this fake-a-versary, we didn't think that it would so tragically impact one of our children's lives as to make her a ***tard child!  So from now on we'll be referring to you as our fakestard!  You our oldest and sweetest now ahave a special term relating only to you!  So yeah, no special presents, but it DID make your Dad buy me roses!  HILARIOUS!!!!
So pardon me if I'm giving you any repeat news, but I'm posting whenever and wherever possible, trying to fill in the holes as we go.
We set out this morning on a mission to go to church.  As we were headed to "a" church,we met a young man in his Sunday best with two young darlings.  He was headed to church so we asked if we could tag along.  Well, that we did and it was a Pentecostal Hallelujah revival!  It was so AWESOME!!!  We were the only "white" people, and they were ALL in their sunday best!  After church, two and a half hours later, he put us on the Church bus and we were taken downtown in what ever city we are in.  Wow!  It was incredible.  The mans name was Michael cerubebatch.  I'm documenting that name just in case I lose that little piece of paper.  Anyway, it was so incredible.  One thing on my bucket list was to go to a Southern Baptist church.  This however I think fit the bill to a tee!  They also had Lord's supper, WOW!  I have no other words.  Except for that we were SEVERLY AND I MEAN SEVERLY UNDERDRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was a little embarassing but God will forgive us!  I'll post more later should time allow.

Barbados

Just about starting to explore for the day.  Remember Maya and Eli when we were in Disneyland how the moon was upside down?  Well it is the same way here.  We looked at it and thought about you guys.
Dad is very excited about the super bowl today.  It is amazing how many women are just as excited.  We'll let you know how our day went later on.  Love to you all.
We had more fun yesterday walking back to the port just talking with people.  So cool.  Today is Sunday so all of the stores are closed.  We're hoping to find a church.  So far looks like our options are Methodist or Anglican.   We're shooting for Methodist.  Unbelievable no CRC!

Another one!

Don't know if you can see it properly but the last pics are of the CIBC in St. Lucia.  Both of the islands we've seen were part of the Commonwealth, so there seems to be all of the banks here.  Quite interesting.  Since I saw the blog did published, thought I'd add some more but I will turn this over to the partner blogger, my better half with whom I'm celebrating my 30th anniversary with today!  Snicker snicker.   Just to set the record she is right i dont do alot of blogging . Oh well can somebody please comment on the NHL because ihave heard nothing at all and starting to shake. St lucia is a beautful place and i hear rent is very cheap you can get a house to rent for 200us a month. Sounds like a plan to me but we will see.its about 26 deegres right now i could handle this for a month or two. The boat is beautiful but i have seen more than enought opa and omas for a long time not to many under the age of 90 i mean it . Next  time it will be all inclusive for us .thanks to all my fallers i will talk to you latter.

St Lucia

Antigua

SoIt looks absolutely hopeless so far to keep you up to date on the blog.  I' going to make posts regardless and should it work, send them as it is possible.  January 31st today and we had our first island stop.  It was nice to get on dry land and tour around although we didn't do much exciting.  We did a smll one and a half hour tour by bus around the island and then went exploring some shops.  I finally got my very own bottle of wine!  Dad got a new pants and dress shirt so he's quite happy with himself also.  Last night we had a formal night here on the boat.  Unbelievable the amount of people that were wearing tuxes.  A lot of woman in long and extravagant gowns also.  Just like The Love Boat used to  be.  It's funny, that's about the only thing we've watched on tv.  Over half of the channels are information about the cruise.   So I think I've told you how when we signed up for this cruise we told them our 30th anniversary was February 1st.  Last night there was an evelope in our mail box.  We thought we were going to get some kind of gift.  Not so.  Instead there was a personal invitation to  have some one help us shop for a memorable gift at a jewelry store in Antigua.  I think not!  Whoknowswe may get a bonus yet, but things are not looking so bright on that front.  In the tablet case was an old bulletin from Christmas that Maya had filled out.  One of the pitures should be of that.  Ciao for now.
