So there's travelling as a tourist and travelling as a TOURIST!  We've crossed over.  Sitting in a lounge driving some Jackson triggs and eating raviolis.  We've learned a lot over the years.  Just buy a lot of propane, and they'll reward you with travelling in style.

Part two of the Palace

The palace

Today we went to visit a palace.  I felt right at home.  To my surprise there were place settings with two family crests.  One was of Hartman.  Of course we were not surprised at that one bit.  It was so nice taking a peaceful drive through some small towns.  So awesome to be away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities.  Well enjoy the pictures.  We ran into two signs that reminded us of Maya.  One was in an ice cream shop and the other was just an advertisement for a museum exhibit.  How cool.

Midden ever

We are visiting Herman in Middenmeer.  It took us forever to get here.  The gps was telling to turn onto a road that was not there.  It was so frustrating dealing with a gas that was not updated.  A long drawn out story but we finally made it safe and sound.  

All is well here, it was a great trip.  Tomorrow we hope to go to Jerry and Rolien.

Dear family

We are off on another adventure.  Can't believe I forgot to tell you when we arrived back from Cuba in the international arrivals some one of the immigration officers from border security.  He was the one with darker skin and curly hair.  I was so excited.  He really does exist not just "as seen on TV"

I'm sure you know about the guilty conscience my dAd instilled in me.  If you are not always working you are not doing God s will.  Taking a vacation was just out of the question.  Here we are, it's on just April, and we are off on the second one of the year.

Can't wait for the day when you guys will be able to pay for all of us to go together somewhere.

Dad has managed to get his game on his new phone, I am doing this, so we are both sitting in a restaurant on electronics.  Not my idea, but we really fit in.  Now we are those people I slam and say " look at that....they are both on electronics, sitting side by side and not even talking to each other."  Although I'm not proud of it, I'm doing it.  Of course my reasoning is I must let the children know what's going.

So we are sitting at the airport nice and early waiting for the kiosk to open.  Anyway, until later, wishing you were here.

Departing.

We have terrible flight times.  Regardless, we did not sleep through the departure time from the hotel.  We are in good time awaiting transfer to the airport.  It's been a blast once again.  Can't think of a better travelling partner.   We understand each other's thinking most of the time.  If there are any disagreements it's usually left brain right brain kind of things.  Once in a while though, it's a NO BRAINER as to whose opinion is correct.  I'll let you decide who's right then!

After a very rough start weather wise, all was well.  Had we come for only the good weather we wouldn't have had other experiences.  We played a lot of cards, even poker and I just about had your dad until I got too confident.  I guess that's what poker is all about.  But it was close, I just about had him cleaned out and it will be quite a long long time before I let him forget that one!

Well we will see what kind of adventures the return trip home brings.  Until we are back in the home land, farewell for now
