The night sky

just sitting outside in the peace and quiet enjoying the sound of the surf. Absolutely amazing.  There seem to be a lot of people of our generation here.  Not a lot of young thangs or older people.  Just right up my alley.  The night sky here is just amazing.  So many stars to see.  Because we're in a different part of the world it's like a whole new adventure up there.  Trying to learn the constellations, but not seeming to have much luck
They rest of our party got a whole lot of sun yesterday.  Thinking because they're all fairer haired the sun seems to attract to their skin.   I'm really worried about sunstroke.  Once bitten twice shy.  That hat is not coming off my head.  At one time I had brown hair.  Now I just make it that way.
They say there are 300 days of sunshine here a year.  It is some HOT.  The sand was pretty hard to walk over in the heat of the day.  At home they're dealing with treacherous road conditions.  I think when you guys were small school was cancelled once.  Yesterday they were in our district too.  Scary.
Dad and Tom are hitting the golf course tomorrow.  Annie and I are doing a picture adventure through the resort.  Looking forward to it.
Had a great supper in the steakhouse last night.  You can eat at an a la carte every night without reservations.  If it's busy just wait your turn.  Quite a concept.
For sure tomorrow there will be lots of pictures.  Love to you all.

Day at the beach

Wow!  What a beautiful sun shiny day.  So so warm.  The ocean was just beautiful.  Dad spent more time in the water today than he ever has.  He got a little red though.  Hoping that all subsides.  This is a really beautiful resort.  It's quite big but the rooms are all in one complex as opposed to villas.  Means a whole lot less walking.  There are also elevators so no stairs.  We actually took a break from the sun today to take a nap.  Rough life I know.  Felt pretty sorry for those having to work in this heat.  It's pretty course sand on the beach but it is ever nice.  The beach serves only this hotel.  The sun is about to go down so I'll hopefully get some good sunset pictures.  Talk to you again later

Made it safe and sound.  Absolutely beautiful.  I'll take more pics later.

Huatulco

Just waiting to board the plane to Huatulco Mexico.  Your dads been planning for a long time and I'm sure things will go off without a hitch.  Soon we'll be changing from down jackets to shorts and shirts.  Well let you know when we arrive.  Dad will soon have to put down the seal phone.
