Glamping
So know there is a movie called Glamping coming out called Glamping but in Scotland it really is a "thing". You can rent a tent or a yirt or a pod. Y pay for your electricity by a meter, rent what type of accomodation you prefer and there you go. Saw a lot of......them in the forest district. Odd but i guess what ever floata your boat. If you have the money they have it for you!

Back to the border
back to the Scotland England border. Not too many adventures. Got a lot of crotcheting done though. See where we land up tomorrow. Plan on staying in and around the same area. We started here in Scotland in Lockerbie and we are back in that area again. Going to play it cool to tomorrow. Time for a break from the driving.

Saw some kind of antique car tour as we were driving. Pretty cool all except for one guy who had some problems.

Oran
Landed up in a quaint little town. Kind of a port town servicing ferries to who knows where!
by the way the i pad was under a suitcase! Who would have ever put it there! Regardless it is back in my loving arms again! Barely slept last night thinking I just cannot believe it is not in the car!!!!! Why would I EVER have taken it out! Dad looked twice, I looked four times, this morning THERE IT WAS!!!! OH well worse things have happened to us. AND THEY HAVE!!!!! It was just a horrible end to a VERY long day.
Today was fu just cruising along. Stopped at an intersection town and asked a local where to go. He suggested this place and boy he was right. Just right up our alley except that we came in just a little late. Most shops close at five so we'll just wait til the morning.
Had some rip roaring rain showers, then some wonderful sunshine. Odd from one minute to the next how the westher could change!

Moms dream
So dad had St. ANdrews and I had Culloden. Two things off our bucket lists in one trip. It really was an experience seeing in real life the history of my guilty pleasure Outlander. ANnies daughter in law Coby will understand. It was just the best! So please show her these pictures Annie. She will get it. What a thrill for me. We arrived to a sign that said the walk around the battlefield was 9 km! Yes NINE!! It was so windy! Thankfully the stones I wanted to see were right at the beginning. Remember the Dekens motto (at least dad and moms motto:). If you can't drive there you can't get there. Well we didn't have to walk too far.
There was an old cottage there. One pic shows a "cable" wire going into the cottage. Maybe the boys had to watch a soccer match before they went into battle. Anyway it was just AWESOME!

Yeah yeah yeah
After stressing more than you could know, all is good once again. Some know some dont but I misplaced my i pad yesterday. Yes just misplaced didnt lose! We both looked through the car time and again, but THANKFULLY it appeared. I couldnt even remember taking it out of the car, but oh so greatful its back in my loving arms again!
we are in the highlands. Mountains, mountain passes and such lovely views. Actually quite a bit of snow too!
we hope today to see the battle of Culloden site.
Enjoy the pictures.

These are for Clarence and Ingrid.
