Letterkenny
Oh the pub life here! So so fun! We had a blast last night. First off one of the entertainers comes up to dad and it went something like this

Canada.
Well what's your name? Hang on....let me look in your eyes....It's Leroy isn't it!
What???? YES!
Yeah I thought that was you!
The rest of the guys in his group had there mouths just hanging! Your dad is in absolute shock!'
Anyway, the night went on, they played sonderful music! Everyone singing along, young and old! We even got to join in on one! Been playing good old Irish music a lot at home and came to learn a Ballad called Grace. It sure was fun! The whole pub singing along. Can't wait for another night of that.
Then further to that story, at the end of the night guy comes back up to dad and says. Yeah my buddy was talking to you earlier today when you were looking for a place with music tonight. He said to keep my eyes open for you! Hilarious! The whole night dad was like...I wonder how he knew my name! Small town completely AWESOME!!!!

Letterkenny Ireland
Well here is a long awaited post. Still trying to figure out the pictures but I did get to post! That in itself is quite an accomplishment.
In true Dekens fashion we arrived a day early....better that than a day late so we're kind of taking a day off the driving.
Your Dad is absolutely amazing with the driving. I would never even attempt it. He does it very confidently. We're even working on "google maps". So between a real map, garmin and google maps, we're doing quite well! Even have a better understanding of Garmin. Techie question for those in the know. So there is a thing in the car that connects to your cell phone. Are we using data if we keep the phone hooked up or is it somehow weefee. Anyway happy that this part is working at least! Until later....

Meanwhile....l
Read an AWESOME book while we have been here. In only a few days! Turns put the have a library here.....for free! Found two more by him. I member him well since he is also the author of The Notebook. Someone in our family chooses it as “his favourite book/movie”. First prize to the one who figures out who first!
And he is off again
Dad met a guy last time he was golfing. Today they are out together. Should be fun for him!
