Another fine day. Left Bray in our rear view mirror and started exploring . We Canadian have such a great reputation for being friendly but I'm thinking the Irish can give us a run for our money everyday. You guys always make fun of me when I talk to random strangers. Well many random strangers have started conversations with us as we walk down the street. We feel so welcome. Except when we entered the country. Well it was just like the show border patrol. Never ever ever had that before. My mouth just about said are you a fan of the show but believe it or not my brain told me not to. It was the classic, do you have enough money to support yourself whilst you are here? Can you prove you have lodgings? Meanwhile Grammas pulling out her book with written info on it and he's asking for electronic info. How about your cell phone ma'am? Um"........ I like paper. He said we do have wi fi you know. Meanwhile I'm an absolute wreck nervous as ever trying to ,go into my tablet. About the money dad puts his hand into the magic pocket and he says , yes that looks likeenough
STRESSFUL!!M!M. Never mind my narcotics, didn't seem too worried about that!
come to later find out the border guards are on a what they call a black protest. They hassle everyone coming into the country because they don't think they're making enough money. So people are waiting exceedingly long. We were the first off the plane and sure enough everyone in the line was looking at us as to why we were taking up some h of their time. Guess they're getting the message out.
