So first of all. I am feeling so miuch better and am so excited about that. Not completely whole but close enough. Really looking forward to today
Chelsey and Jon deserve the highest for raising such wonderful children. Their behaviour could not be accomplished by one stern lecture before they go. It took their lifetime and we are very proud! There has not been one whine, one moment of disobedience. Every day Maya makes sure to tell us more than once "I am having such a great time!" That means the world to us and we want the world to know. We will admit we were a little nervous for the simple fact they are children and you do never know what will come out of their mouths. Every hesitation has been unfounded. We took them to the Disney Store yesterday and told them they could pick whatever they wanted. They both were quite unsure about this, you could tell they were told not to ask for anything, and they haven't. Eli had no problem jumping right in and finding something. That was quite alright. Maya on the other hand was very nervous about it. Fearing she would disappoint her parents. It took quite a while to put her misgivings aside and assure her that when Gramma and Opa say you can pick anything, that what they mean! Pick ANYTHING you want! Amazing! Her attitude was astounding! She finally decided on a musical jewelery box. We tried to find her a ring that would fit her to put inside, but to no avail. Believe it or not, they could get something out of a gumball machine. Maya picked the one that had jewelery in it and out came a ring WITH HER BIRTHSTONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That could not have happend better even if it was planned!
So the angels are still sleeping and I'm downstairs doing this so as not to wake them. I could get out of bed no problem so I decided to celebrate and get up! By the angels, that includes Opa, because he has as always been a real sport.
Today will be made up of doing some rides, returning to the hotel for some rest, and then heading back to Disneyland for the Halloween party! That should be fun, but I'm really worried about how cold it could be. It has been just a little warmer than at home. No bright California days here! One of the service men I spoke to said: "It should be nice and warm NEXT week!" Thanks Buddy! That is NOT what I want to hear. Well if you're still with me, not to mention any names CURT< although I know HE"S given up by now, but he might scroll down; here are some pictures I hope I haven't already posted. Its hard to see when they're so small. Love to you all back home, especially a great big hug to Isaac.
Speaking of which "one more quick story" The little darling have spoken to their parents every night on Skype. Last night Isaac was awake to see them. The oy on ALL of their faces was a sight to be desired. They were ALL so happy to see each other. The kids were hugging the copmuter and Isaac was smiling and waving away. It was so precious! Okay, enough of the stories, here are some pictures.
What beautiful and precious stories. Thanks for sharing!! Love you all !! Chels
