Just started off of our new exciting holiday. Left Telkwa yesterday morning. Along with leaving Telkwa, we left behind o few feet of snow, and ice to go and feel some sun. Thanks Curt for looking after things for us. Of course, even though nervous about making it to the airport on time we arrived with a lot of time reaing.
We boarded the plane, while in the tunnel your dad informed me we would be flying Club Class. Talk about nice! Champagne before we even took off, wide seats, remote control tv sets, breakfast on real dishes, hot eggs Benedict (my favourite!). This is just unbelievable. The rate was not all that much higher than having the exit rows. Sure makes one feel uppity! So nice and comfortable you just wouldn’t believe it. Only thing is now there is no going back! Guess we’ll just have to fly this way all of the time. It just doesn’t get any better!
One thing is missing though, there is no actual map of where we are when flying. Someone asked the stewardess where we were. \your dad was on his way to the bathroom at the time and one wise steward heard her ask someone. Well he said just tell them that’s the Tormonto River below us. How would they ever know anyway!
I finally got to watch the end of Hangover 2. Took me close to three hours to watch it between falling asleep etc, but was it ever funny! There will be no batchelor parties for a while! That is until they make a Bachelorette! Tv never got that good!
Just git another hot treat! The goodies just don’t stop. Guess now we know what canapés are anyway! Just saw below, after about five hous of flying we finally see ocean. While flying, all of asudden out my window, \I saw a fighter jet fly by, just below the window.
Life cession for the day. Your dad just ate something he didn’t know what it was and regretted it. I guess the one time that he went out on the edge was a mistake. Five minutes later and he’s still shaking his head. Funny sight! New definition of the word nasty!
