A small problem

While cleaning my glasses last night one of my nose pads fell off.  Because we are with out my personal optometric assistant, I am stuck with the problem.  With my contacts I'm lost for close up seeing and they keep falling down my nose.  Of course my new glasses were not ready before we left. I always have an emergency pair but didn't think about to take a pair along. Silly me. Oh well I'll just keep pushing them up.  When I was a little girl I lost a nose pad but didn't dare tell my mom for fear she'd be so angry with me.  I got a huge sore on the side of my nose but no one noticed.  After waiting what seemed like a year I finally said something. Although I did get a severe tongue lashing it didn't hurt as much as the sore on my nose.  I had not thought about that until last night but do remember it was the other side as this time, so I think I can live with it for a few days.  Amazing how I am so dependant on these glasses in working order. Just goes to show you you don't know what you've got til it's gone.  Hoping all is well with everyone.  Saw another little darling at the pool today.  Guessed she was four months old and was right.  Her name was Charlotte but there other pick was Eva.  Hope Chelsea and Keri are having a nice visit together with miss g  a and mark. Really thinking about Jon being super dad with Maya Eli and Isaac and thinking also of Emily at home with Eva and curt in camp.  It's hard to think that the world still goes on while we're on holidays.  It is so nice and relaxing.  We are however having a hard time finding he opportunity to find gifts to bring back.  The resort is far away from a town and to hire a taxi it's the kind you have to hire and he stays with you for the whole time so it is quite costly.  We're hoping to figure something out shortly, otherwise it just might be airport gifts.  Nevertheless we are thinking of you constantly.  We do need to know the kind of rum Jon is after so if you could let us know that would be nice.  Anyway greetings to you all you are forever on ur minds.  Seeings parents who have left their little ones behind or have taken them with them, we think of someone in particular several times a day.  Your day will come and you'll be blogging to Opa and gramma at home.  Love to you all of course.
