Here are some pictures from the last couple of days. I had lost track the last while so hope here to bring you back up to speed.
In our present little home where we are staying for the next few days, our first visitors were these three. Although they were quite welcoming they seemed to have ulterior motives. They waited patiently by the door for something to eat. Reminded us of Peanut who visits the neighbourhood from house to house waiting for some kind of special treat. They were so tame. Seem to make this place their home.
We had stopped at a truck stop when we came across this. Your dad and Ome IJnze had just watched this team the night before on television. I thought our country had an over fascination with hockey. It doesn't compare to this country and soccer.
After staying with Ome IJnze for a few days, we once again said our good byes and headed on the road again.
On our way to Ome IJnze, we stopped by to see Tante An, Ome Teun and Fred. We had a lot of laughs with them. It was nice to see Fred in his own country too.
That seems to wrap up the last while once again. Today we'll begin a new adventure in the province of Zuid Holland. There is much to see here. The tulips are in the field right across from the park we are staying and are just about ready for the picking. This weekend is the tulip parade and the big celebrations surrounding it. To take a picture of the field just does not do the scene justice. Well buy a postcard and take a picture of that instead.
It's so amazing how he looks like Opa. Do you feel like when you are visiting with him you are visiting with your dad? How cool! We miss you guys a lot and Maya is doing much better this morning. Thanks for praying!
