Only in holland

So yesterday we were going to a fairly big city and we had to go over a big bridge down into a big city centre.  Our Tom Tom said go straight ahead so I did .  Then it said go left then right so I did .  now you have to understand this full of people and very narrow streets so we end up at a deadend with a police who was following us until the last turn .  he went around the other side so here we sit can't backup but had a post in front of us so we thinking we have backup but there are people everywhere.  not knowing what to do all of a sudden the post starts to go into the ground and smiles go over our face and we go through to a parking lot so we park and count our blessings.  so we go out for dinner with Menno our friend who comes fishing every year and we tell him what happen and he laughs and said the police lets us through there.  They have a clicker in their car to open the post.  The cop must thought those stupid Canadians so a big thank you to the police of Kampen .  Today we encountered ANOTHER one.  We knew it was there.  This one was just a matter of waiting twenty minutes.
