Tante Grietje

While in Heerlen we went to visit my dads oldest sister.   She is in her late eighties yet still lives in her own house with the help of her two wonderful children.   Of course there is no doubt they were my cousins since it sit in de bloed.  While we were there I asked to see some old pictures.   That was amazing  I saw some pictures of our family I had never seen before.  One was so precious to me.  I am the cute little darling sitting on my mother's lap.  She also showed me another saying she had no idea who one of those people were.  I said I knew just about everyone on that picture.  It was of all of the Huismans.  I explained that it was our Omas sister that had moved to Canada years before my parents.  How amazing is that to come across that picture.  My cousins husband had promised to scan them and send them to us. 
While the women were visiting in the kitchen, your dad had a fun time visiting with Ruut.  They had a lot of laughs together.  So understand these are pictures of pictures.
