Varardero

So because it's such a rainy day we could either play cards in our room or venture out and see something exciting.  We chose the latter.  The rain has slowed down.  For those of you having issues commenting, the gmail address works good.  Florence, I'm looking for house numbers and haven't come across them yet.  I know I have it on a text from you on leroys phone but we were warned not to turn on our phones.  So if you could gmail me, that would be great.  So hard to see things we really take for granted not available here.  It is however amazing the amount of people we talk to that are here because they don't want to come when the Americans can have their for reign.  The Cubans are skeptical however and do not believe that that concept is going to happen.
We did a lot of walking hoping we were headed in the right direction.  I am so directionally challenged.  Your dad thought it was one direction and I thought the other.  I knew better than to trust my instincts, however your dad was starting to think I may have been right.  In the long run of course he was right.  It took a long time and we are where we wanted to be.
At this market dad handed over his money clip which has over the years just had too much wear.  The fellow said he would fix it on warranty.  It was blind trust.  Funny thing last time we searched high and low for a clip and no one had them.  This time the same idea is everywhere.  So we went back and he was true to his word.  Fixed.  There are good people in the world.
The picture is of this little darling just rocking to the music sucking on her bottle.  Just so darling!

  1. Looks like youre having a great time! Lots of new adventures! What is that picture of the bush? It looks like a sweet spot to play. Also, so sweet that your swans are kissing, did the maids wear winter jackets today? So, now that my post sounds more like a 3 year old jumping all over the place, keep in mind it is Friday afternoon and I just took 25 9/10 year olds to a hockey game! Love you lots! Genevieve sends hugs and kisses.
