A new day in Cuba. There is some blue sky, little wind, but I can still see the ocean waves crashing onto the shore. Enjoying my morning coffee still sitting in my winter coat. Hoping today we can at least get off the resort. I've always said you can't buy good weather and there are no guarantees, but this is looking hopeless. From what I've seen of the weather forecast, the nicest day we will have will be the Sunday before we leave. On the bright side, we are saving the sun screen. Don't even have to bother with it. Towels are staying dry, yet there is still a competition on for pool chairs. Yesterday we were down there before 9:00 am and they were all gone.
The resort only seems to be full when you look at meal times. Otherwise there is plenty of room. There is a big hotel room area which must but full. The bungalow area where we are staying usually is very quiet. You don't see a whole lot of people walking around either.
So hopefully today will. Ring some sort of adventure. Well have to find something exciting to do or so. There has been no hope for dad either to golf since the wind has just been extreme. The golf course is right next door so we should at teats be able to check that out today. Greetings to you all and special hugs and kisses to Maya, Eli, Isaac, Eva and Genevieve.
Adventures can be had in wind, snow, rain or sun! Have fun! Chels
