Terrible spelling

OkYthat was SUPPOSEDto say how amazing and easy it is to find alcohol free beer . There were other mistakes but hope you can figure them out. Stupid spell check!

Travelling in class.....business class that is! A little embarrassed by it,but this is one of the many perks. A lounge with champagne and beer. It really hasten amazing how readily available on alcohol beer has been. We consider .05 or perhaps .5 percent beer as alcohol free. Here the only beer that is considered that is 0.0. Even pregnant women can drink it. I don't even think it is an option in our country ! It's been really awesome.

Battery is dying because we forgot to plug it in last night so I'll keep it short. We are in Munich now awaiting the flight to Montreal.

Memories

I think today may become a day of a lot of typing and not so many pictures. To put it in a nutshell, it was everything we had hoped and dreamt I would be. I have only one regret and that is that I didn't take pictures of us with our Kooman van den dries cousins. Dora, Eric, Nico, Jannie, Peter, Magreet and Dora's daughters. That's a lot of people to not commemorate. The evening of Dora's birthday party was SO full of conversation that we completely forgot. Nico, the fire inspector (I don't know if that is his right title) but your dad spoke the whole night with him about his adventures. While we were in the car travelling there, we had said how Mark would love a tshirt from the department. Jerry called him from the car enroute and Nico delivered. He brought a lot of swag. He said had we called him with more notice he would have brought more. What he brought was more than we had ever expected. We razzed Jerry that had he called earlier we would have had a lot more. Well Jerry said, had you TOLD me earlier, I would have CALLED him earlier. It was very funny! But seriously we never imagined he would bring as much stuff as he did, so sorry Mark, you're not getting it all!

We think we'll get a lot of sleep on the way home. We are travelling in such style, thank you Superior Propane. Who would think these hicks from the sticks would be able to enjoy such great benefits.

So that's it for now. Most of you will have made it to the end of this rant, Curt, well he probably won't BUT......we think he's been very busy dealing with crisis at Midway, so for that we truly thank him.

Last few for now

Last full day

Had a lot of fun today doing all kinds of things. Here are some last shots of Amsterdam .

Our home away from home for the last few days

Bikes are us.

Believe it or or, dad and I rode bikes through the streets of Amsterdam. It took a lot of convincing but I did it. Dad of course was the fearless leader and fearless he was. I was such a chicken. There were no pictures taken until the bikes were returned to the shop. We then needed a picture just so you would believe it. I don't have to do that again for a while. Think I've had my fill. The vibration of the cobble stone streets was something else.it was fun. Although I won't have to do that again for a long long time!

Magreet

Had a wonderful visit with my cousin Magreet today. It was so nice to see a familiar face. When I look in the mirror every morning I see the same eyes.

And now that I look at the picture, I see the same smile also. Amazing the familial traits that travel through the generations.

Views from the Botel.

The ferry we took across. Each carries 250 people. This one leaves every five minutes. Three separate ones are leaving to different directions. So so many people.

CCCCCRRRRRAAAAAZZZZZZYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! What a day. We've NEVER seen so many people on EVERY street, EVERYWHERE we went. And was it ever orange! You just wouldn't believe it. The pictures just cannot give the whole impression we got. I was quite uncomfortable. Too many people, too many who had had too much to drink regardless of the time. We are back I our hotel Boel. I'm sure you could look it up op de inter web. It's pretty cool. Oh well enjoy the pictures. I think k well stay put for the night however.
