Riding backwards in the back

Today I experienced:  driving backwards down a freeway when dad took the wrong lane, he said "watch this....."  I didn't watch".."......fighting the same lane of traffic over and over and over.  We were trying to get to a hotel in Rotterdam during rush hour.  What a nightmare and then some.  We thought we'd try get a hotel close to where we were supposed to be tomorrow.  No such luck.  After many phone calls we landed up at the same place as last night.  We started out by being 3.1 Kim's away from our destination.  After driving about 15 minutes we landed up being TEN Kim's away.  About the only funny thing was watching a duck couple trying to decide whether they needed diesel, premium or regular.  At least we had a good laugh over that!
