Off to Holland

We've made it far as Vancouver on our journey.  I said to your dad this morning that I thought we were getting quite good at this travel thing and that I was pretty confident that we had everything .  We sure enough get to Smithers airport where they told us we actually were cutting it very close.  We were pretty surprised.  We are always checking in in proper time.  Well they had changed the flight times a month ago and they had called us about the time difference.  It was right about then that I remembered yes they did call.  They had also sent us a new itinerary.  Oops.  Well the girl who helped us said oh that's okay, we will just expect a free breakfast next time.  It was then that I recognized her.  She said her husband would be heartbroken to know we closed.  That was nice to hear.  Then her associate informed us we'd have to pay for our bags.  Your dad said well he called to check up on that precise issue last week and was told we were fine and didn't have to pay.  She let that go too.  The associate was not very impressed that we were getting special treatment.  I'm sure when we left she would have been told just who we were and there would be no problem.  Seems not everyone in this world thinks we're special.....yet.  One more has been added.  

When we got to Vancouver we realized we had forgotten our special little book with all of the confirmation numbers.  That only took a phone call and now we're all,set to go.  Did some shopping and now we're back at the hotel.  We will let you know should anything more exciting happen.
