Welcome to Gouda

We had a surprise waiting for us on the windshield of the car.  I guess everyone knows here what the parking laws are without signs.  We didn't, there was a spot and we took it.  Surprise!  Speed limits are also not posted very clearly.  On our GPS, it wil. Ring when the driver is exceeding the speed limit.  It is quite handy.  The speed limit can can from130-90-50 in a matter of seconds.  It's like rolling the dice.  Take your chances.  The GPS is also not updated very well.  The system will say " in the roundabout take the third exit."  There is no roundabout!  It's like giving people directions.  Turn right where the stop light USED to be, then turn at the green house (well it used to be green, they now painted it yellow). Those are about the only traffic snarls we have had which is okay BUT NOT IN RUSH HOUR!  Oh well today we will see what the holds for us.  My uncle is going to show us some sights.  We will fill you in when we're done.
